Reem and the Cake in the Oven

Reem and the Cake in the Oven

📝 Summary

A short, fully vowelled story for young children about patience.

📖 Story

Reem made a cake with her grandmother.
They mixed the flour, the eggs and the sugar.
Then Grandma put the cake in the oven.
Reem said, "Is it ready?"
Grandma said, "Not yet. Be patient a little."
A minute later she said, "And now?" Grandma said, "Not yet."
Reem sat down, drew a cake on a piece of paper, and waited.
Then... ding! The oven rang.
Out came the cake: big, golden, and smelling lovely!
Grandma said, "You see? Patience made it delicious."
Patience is the key to sweet things.
